Chase Brewster was a client of ATC Goaltending for 3 years and in those 3 years he quickly became a staff and camp favourite. Chase had an infectious smile and a work ethic second to none…. he truly enjoyed being a goalie! ATC Goaltending would like to remember Chase by presenting an annual 1-week summer camp scholarship to one lucky goalie that plays in the Chase Brewster Memorial Tournament.

ATC Goaltending is proud to announce that the annual Chase Brewster Memorial Scholarship will be given out this year at the Chase Brewster Memorial PeeWee Hockey Tournament in Red Deer this February.

There are sure to be many deserving candidates so we have decided to ask all
goaltenders at the tournament that are interested in receiving the 2018 scholarship. We are asking that all interested goalies write a 1-page document telling the tournament committee & Chase Brewster Foundation why they should be chosen. Please keep in mind that we are not necessarily looking for the best goalie…. we are looking for the goalie that displays all the attributes that Chase will be best remembered for (positive energy, infectious enthusiasm, passion for hockey and those who love being a goalie). This year the scholarship is open to all goalies who are attending the tournament, if you have a special story about goaltending or hockey or what playing goal means to you we would love to hear about it. The winning submission will be chosen by the Chase Brewster Foundation and awarded to the recipient on Sunday February 4th during playoffs.

If you are interested in submitting your story please submit it to the tournament committee by noon on Saturday, February 3rd. You can email to or bring to the Registration table at the tournament. Please be sure and include your name and team information as well as that you are participating in the Chase Brewster Memorial Tournament. Thank you and good luck.

This years’ chosen recipient will receive a 1 week ATC Goaltending Camp at one of the 6 locations it is being offered at this summer. Check out for more info on camp and locations.
