Chase had an active role in his community. He went to Gateway Christian School and was a respectful student and loved classmate and friend. He played many sports including hockey. He was a valuable teammate and mentor to many young athletes. Chase was a goalie, a role that he loved and excelled at and one that took skill, courage and perseverance. He won championships with his team in ice hockey and was awarded “Most Valuable Goalie” in 2009 when his team won the championship in the North American In-Line Hockey Tournament.
In time, the Brewster Family knew they needed to turn their loss into something positive and healing. They decided to create the Chase Brewster Memorial Trust Fund to perform acts of compassion and help other worthwhile causes. Their fund has helped so many families in need in Central Alberta since it’s inception and is a touching way to keep the memory of such an amazing young man in our hearts.
